Bonjour Paris: From October 20 to 23, 2025, this year’s International Conference of the IIOM (International Institute of Obsolescence Management) took place in Paris.

AMSYS was delighted to be there again!

Under the main theme of “Building and Sustaining Systems in the Face of Obsolescence: Business Cases and Knowledge Transfer to the Next Generation of Experts“,

the participants enjoyed four days full of expertise, exchange, and future perspectives.

 

🎤 What awaited the participants?

A high-caliber program of keynote presentations, technical lectures, panel discussions, breakout sessions, interactive workshops, as well as diverse networking opportunities.

Designed by and for experts in the field of obsolescence management.

 

On October 20, 2025, Bjoern Bartels, Managing Director of AMSYS, had the honor of participating in Workshop 2, “Quantifying Obsolescence Management Risk”.

He gave his presentation, “Quantifying Obsolescence Risk: a Framework for Smarter Lifecycle Management”.

 

At a time when technological cycles are becoming shorter and supply chains more complex, the strategic management of obsolescence is becoming increasingly important.

AMSYS contributed its many years of experience, innovative solutions, and practical application examples to the IIOM conference.

The aim was not only to secure existing systems in the long term, but also to pass on knowledge and methods to the next generation.
