PCN – Product Change Notice

Examples: Material, design, production changes
Effects: Validations, adjustments, release processes
PDN – Product Discontinuance Notice
Announcement of the discontinuation of a product
Examples: Last order date, replacement item
Effects: Redesigns, failure risks, supply bottlenecks
The approach went beyond reactive problem-solving – from identifying the problem early to implementing sustainable solutions incorporating structured risk management, proactive measures, appropriate tools, and contractual arrangements to secure the supply chain.
